19th Avenue to Close for Street Repairs

roadEUGENE, Ore. — A two-block section of 19th Avenue between High and Ferry streets will be closed for a week starting March 24.

Eugene Public Works Maintenance crews will replace the damaged concrete panels in that section.

During that time, eastbound traffic on 19th Avenue will be directed to use alternate routes, such as High Street to 18th Avenue or Amazon Parkway to 24th Avenue. Sidewalks will stay open.

The city says access to the school will be maintained although the driveway across from Mill Street will be closed.
