34th Home and Garden Show Opens

EUGENE, Ore. — With the sunshine making a presence Thursday, it was perfect timing for the kickoff of the Home and Garden Show.

There are about 300 exhibits, from garden and landscaping displays to home improvement demonstrations and appliances in the main building.

While this show is great exposure for local businesses around the Eugene and Springfield area, you’ll also meet Oregon business owners who have traveled here from miles away.

“I feel like I get quite a bit of advertising and a lot of great customers that wouldn’t be willing to drive two hours over to our place,” said Rosie Sullivan, N & M Herb Nursery.

The 34th Home and Garden Show is also a great place just to get tips and advice from experts. Visitors can also check out the newest trends in all types of home improvement and decorating.

The event happens all weekend. Admission is free, and organizers are also collecting food for Food for Lane County. Click here for more information.
