Six Local Nonprofits Get Donation Boost

EUGENE, Ore. — Local charities received a big boost Friday of thousands of dollars in donations.

Kendall Auto Group presented a $30,000 check to six nonprofits. CASA of Lane County, Womenspace, Greenhill Humane Society, Tamarack Wellness Center, OLSP, and Food for Lane County will all receive $5,000.

This is Kendall Auto Group’s second year participating in the donation program.

“We really find that it is important to give back to the community, as a local family owned business, kendall knows that investing in the community is incredibly important,” said Chelsey Lee, Kendall Cares Spokeswoman.

All of the charities in the running for donations were nominated by the community. The six winning organizations received the most votes.
