4J Discusses Ideas to Improve Schools

EUGENE, Ore. — The 4J School District is holding a community meeting to hear suggestions on how to improve their schools’ conditions. The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Middle School.

“We’d really like to hear voices from all around the district. From all of those different stakeholder groups, from parents absolutely, but also from other neighbors, we’d like to know what you have to think,” said Kerry Delf, 4J Communications Coordinator.

Many of the district’s schools are more than 50-years-old and are expensive to heat and maintain.

The district is working to prioritize what needs to be fixed, but wants to discuss ideas with the community.
