EUGENE, Ore. — The 4J School District is negotiating contracts with its classified employees.

It held a bargaining session with representatives for the employment groups Monday afternoon. The district said it’s working to figure out pay and the wording of the contracts for all of its classified employees.

“These are representatives for our custodians, food service workers, bus drivers, and many other classified staff,” said Christine Nesbit, 4J Human Resource Associate Director.

The district said Monday was the fourth time it met with classified employees.

It expects to have a finalized contract by June when the current contract expires.
