4J Launches Bus Stop Website

EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene 4J School District wants to make sure you know right where your child should wait for the school bus, and a new website makes that easier.

A parent can put in their address, and a list of the closest stops comes up with pick up and arrival times. No personal information is given out on the site.

4J says the new process is easier than what parents had to do before.

“The parent would phone-in to the school, ask where’s my child’s stop, what time do they get picked up, what time are they dropped off? A lot of times the school might not have that information handy,” said Chris Ellison, 4J Transportation Manager.

You can also access a map on the site that shows the child’s bus route.
