BLUE RIVER, Ore. — With all of Eugene in the grips of Duck football fever, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the city is also known by the nickname “Tracktown USA.”
And while KEZI has talked about the legendary Steve Prefontaine, he’s not the only running advocate worth mentioning.
For decades, Jeff Sherman has helped guide young runners at McKenzie High School in Blue River. His dedication goes back to 1979.
