50,000 Acres Burning in Eastern Oregon

ADRIAN, Ore. — More than 500 firefighters are battling four wildfires in eastern Oregon.

The largest fire is the Owyhee Fire, which is burning near Adrian in Malheur County near the Idaho border. That fire has burned more than 30,000 acres with zero percent containment.

There are three more wildfires crews are battling, all caused by lightning in southeastern Oregon for a total of more than 50,000 acres.
