HARRISBURG, Ore. — About 75 people received layoff notices at Allied Specialty Vehicles, the former Monaco plant.

We’re told employees were surprised by the news Monday morning. When they showed up for work, they were instead told to go home.
We’re told employees were given a couple of months severance pay in addition to vacation pay.
