SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A new gym that claims to whip you into shape in just 30 minutes held its grand opening Friday.
9Round is a total body workout that includes nine stations aiming to blast fat and tone your body. The class starts with a warm-up, then strength building, kickboxing and finally a core workout.
Participants spend three minutes at each station. It’s harder than it sounds, which is why members say they’re seeing results.
“I feel like my body is getting stronger. I’ve lost five pounds already in the first few weeks, my stamina and my endurance is better, and I have more energy,” said 9Round member Tiffany Parmenter.
“After three workouts, I’m already fitting in clothes that have been hanging in my closet,” said 9Round member Glenda Mock.
The program allows you to come in whenever you want during business hours, and you’ll always have a trainer by your side. Newcomers can try the class for free.
Friday’s grand opening is at 10 a.m. There will be healthy snacks and discount memberships.
The gym is located on 1839 Pioneer Parkway East in Springfield. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
