Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
As a warm front moves across western Oregon we’re seeing scattered showers for pretty much everyone. The Eugene Airport picked up .12″ between 4 and 8 a.m. We’ll continue to add to these rainfall totals throughout the day as showers continue off and on followed by heavier rain this evening. Winds will also be breezy this evening and high temperatures will be about 5 degrees cooler than Yesterday.
Showers will continue off and on Friday along with possible afternoon thunderstorms. These showers will tapper off midday Saturday.
High pressure will return just in time to clear us out starting Mother’s Day. Early next week is looking sunny, warm and dry. Highs inland should return to the 70s. Monday and mid to upper 70s mid week.
Have a great day!
