EUGENE, Ore. — A local organization working to find forever homes for local foster children is getting ready for its biggest fundraiser of the year.
A Family for Every Child will host its “Winter Wonderland” fundraiser on Thursday. The event includes a dinner and auction.
Tickets are $75 each, and the money will help the 5-year-old nonprofit get kids out of foster care.
“Everybody can make a difference in life of a child whether it’s by donating or volunteering or becoming a mentor. Not everyone can be an adoptive parent but everybody can do a little bit of something so it’s really a great time and a great evening to share that,” said Linzy Munger, AFFEC Associate Director
