ALBANY, Ore. — Albany Police and Fire came to the rescue of two residents stuck in their burning apartment building Saturday night.
One of the trapped residents called 9-1-1 around 11 p.m. and said their apartment was on fire and they couldn’t get out.
Before fire crews arrived, a police officer was able to rescue one occupant from the ground floor. Firefighters had to rescue the second victim.
