COBURG, Ore. — A man suspected of robbing a bank in California was arrested after a traffic violation near Coburg.
On Wednesday, an OSP trooper stopped James R. Dear on I-5 in Eugene after receiving a complaint about a possible drunk driver.
Dear was cited and released and then arrested again the next day when evidence from his car linked him to a bank robbery in Sacramento.
Dear is now at the Lane County Jail.
