Alleyne Sets Record, But Bruins Bust UO

EUGENE, Ore — Despite Jillian Alleyne’s record setting night, Oregon was beaten handily by UCLA 103-83 Monday night at Matthew Knight Arena. Alleyne, a sophmore forward, set the school and Pac-12 record for rebounds in a single season with 377. She finished the night with 12, bringing her total on the season to 388.

Ariel Thomas led the Ducks with 28 points. Atonye Nyingifa led the Bruins with 34. Oregon (13-12, 4-10), has now lost three straight games. The Ducks play at Washington on Friday.
