COOS BAY, Ore. — Military veterans and their families will be able to get a little help Friday at an event in Coos Bay.
It’s the third annual Veterans Stand Down at the Coos Bay National Guard Armory.
There will be employment and training programs, veteran service officers and dozens of other supportive community partners. More than 40 service organization and agencies will be on hand to answer questions and lend support.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 17.
