The celebration featured vendors from all over the world. People were able to taste different Asian foods, check out artwork and watch performances. There was also a marketplace where people could buy an assortment of cultural items.
“We have over about 30 committee volunteers who dedicate their time and help put this together. We’re an all-volunteer-run event,” said David Tam, Chairman of the Oregon Asian Celebration.
Event organizers say it took more than six months to plan the event that nearly 14,000 people attended.
