BPM Real Estate broke ground on The Waterford Grand Tuesday morning.
The senior center will offer 136 units, including 44 units for independent living. The real estate company hopes that The Waterford Grand will also give the local economy a boost.
“Waterford Grand in particular will bring about 150 permanent jobs, so we’re looking forward to trying to employ as many local individuals as we can,” said Dennis Parfitt, BPM Real Estate Group.
BPM will start taking reservations for the building around February, and it hopes to have it open by next August.
