AT&T Activates 4G Network

EUGENE, Ore. — Some smartphone users now have access to the latest in wireless network technology.

AT&T turned on its 4G LTE network for Eugene and Corvallis.

That’s not the only upgrade. The company’s also offering popular Apple products that use the updated network, including iPads.

Local suppliers think customers will appreciate the newer, faster network.

“Our customers want more speed and they want faster, and with faster speed they can do a lot more with their devices,” said store manager Basilio Colon.

Apple’s been working to expand its network throughout Oregon. Portland’s 4G LTE network went live in September.
