EUGENE, Ore. — The March of Dimes held its Signature Chefs Auction Tuesday night, raising $60,000.
This year’s event included a cook-off between five local chefs.
Two winners took home the title of top chef: SweetWaters Chef Alfredo Van Nortick and Chef Richard Balajadia from The Bridge.
Competitors were given four ingredients–scallops, asparagus, capers and a mystery ingredient, which turned out to be scotch.
Two-hundred and eighty people turned out for this year’s event to raise money to help pre-term babies.
