Biography

Heather Turner joined the KEZI 9 News team in August 2010 as a news reporter based in the Corvallis newsroom. Heather moved to Oregon from Arizona where she attended Arizona State University. She graduated magna cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sociology. While at ASU, Heather interned at KSAZ FOX 10 News, KNOW99 Television, KPHO CBS 5 News, and received the Scripps Howard Foundation Scholarship to intern at KNXV ABC 15 News. Heather also reported as the police beat reporter at ASU’s newspaper, The State Press, in addition to reporting for ASU’s TV station, Cronkite News Service.
