EUGENE Ore. — The Oakshire Public Brewing House opened its doors Sunday night for the Back Country Film Festival.
The festival features outdoor films from all around the world.
The Backcountry Film Festival travels to nearly 100 cities showing films that highlight winter in the backcountry. The goal is to raise money so local youth can go on winter adventures.
Sam Vanderbeek of Eugene’s Educational Recreational Adventures was thrilled with the cooperation at the event, “This is through the Winter Wildlands Alliance. This is their Backcountry Film Fest. They’re allowing us to use it to raise money.”
The Oakshire Public Brewing House will also host a silent auction and donate one dollar out of every two-dollar beer it sells.
