“Bags of Love” Helping Kids in Crisis

Bags of LoveEUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene-based non-profit helped more than a thousand children in crisis last year and it’s hoping to help even more this year.

Bags of Love is an organization that partners with over 40 agencies to provide bags full of blankets, toys, clothes, and other items to children.

Executive director, Di Barrong, says with an event coming up in August, they could use help getting more items together to donate to local kids.

“It’s our responsibility to these children. These kids are hanging out there and they are our future and we need to be able to help them in some way and this is one of the ways to do it,” said Barrong.
