The county elections office says voters who want to mail in their ballot must do so no later than Thursday, Nov. 1. Postmarks do not qualify. After that, voters must drop off their ballots at any designated drop site by 8 p.m. on Nov. 6.
“We’re running a little behind if you compare it to 2008 numbers, but we do expect to receive 85-90 percent return for this election. Likely a majority will come in on Monday and Tuesday Election Day,” said Cheryl Betschart, Lane County Clerk.
