Bandon Man Missing

Ted RogersBANDON, Ore. — The Coos County Sheriff’s Office has suspended its search for a Bandon man who has been missing since May 29.

Deputies say 78-year-old Ted Rogers was last seen at home on Christopher Road Thursday afternoon. After his wife returned home from town that evening, she saw he was gone so she called the sheriff’s office.

Deputies and police say they searched that night and Friday morning, but could not find him.

The sheriff’s office says Rogers, an Alzheimer’s patient, is in good health and very mobile. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 185 pounds, has brown hair with gray sides, brown eyes, a mustache and glasses. They say he is known to be wearing blue jeans and boots and may have been wearing a flannel shirt or just a T-shirt. He was also wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a fish on it.

Anyone who has seen Rogers or know where he is should call the Coos County Sheriff’s Office at 541-396-2106.
