LANE COUNTY, Ore. — Two motorcyclists who chased down a car and smashed it with a chain-link weapon learned their sentence last week.
Philip Davis was sentenced to 45 days in jail. Kenneth Cornell was sentenced to 30.
They both will spend three years on probation and pay more than $2,500 in fines.
Last month, they followed a car for 20 miles on Highway 126, sometimes going as fast as 100 miles an hour.
The driver of the car, Christopher Jenson, faces reckless driving charges.
He’s accused of running one of the bikers off the road, which started the confrontation.
