DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — A fire broke out Thursday afternoon between Days Creek and Milo. The Bland Mountain Fire burned about 75 acres.
The Douglas Forest Protective Association said strong winds made the fire difficult to stop, but at around 8 p.m. Thursday night the blaze was 70 percent contained.
Crews remained on the scene Friday morning. No homes were threatened and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the DFPA.
