Blue Skies Turning Grey Thursday

Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:

Nothing but blue skies today! High pressure is going to keep us dry for one more day. Highs will climb to the mid to upper 60s in the Valley and Umpqua Basin and upper 50s at the Coast.

The next storm system moves in Thursday. We’ll see showers Thursday morning followed by heavier rain Thursday night. Showers will continue off and on Friday followed by a chance for showers and possible thunderstorms Saturday.

High pressure will return just in time to clear us out starting Mother’s Day. Early next week is looking warmer and dry. Highs inland should return to the 70s.

Have a great day!
