SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — If you’re a fan of the blues, you can enjoy your favorite music this weekend and help out a good cause in the process.
The Island Park Blues Festival in Springfield is a first of its kind event here and starts Friday afternoon and continues Saturday.
The headliners are Lydia Pense and Kenny Neal. But the best part is part of the proceeds goes to Food for Lane County.

Gates at the Island Park Blues Festival opens at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. Admission costs $7 when you bring three cans of food or $10 without food. It happens at Island Park in Springfield.
