EUGENE, Ore. — Dozens of BMX riders flocked to Lane Events Center Saturday for the Emerald Valley Indoor BMX meet.
Organizers say that some of the competitors are nationally ranked riders in their age group.
For those who ride, it’s a great way to get out of the house and explore.
“This last summer we spent probably 90% of the time, outdoors, riding our bikes. It’s a good time because we meet so many people and travel around so much. We spend a lot of time on our bikes,” said BMX rider Jason Germyn.
Riders say BMX is a sport that’s great for the whole family to get some exercise.
