EUGENE, Ore. — If you’re ready to tackle a home improvement project, look no further than the Lane County Home Improvement Show.
It’s back for its 31st year, with 230 home and garden exhibits at the Lane County Fairgrounds. Each booth has the hottest new products and gadgets on the market, and you can pick the brains of the area’s best contractors for fresh ideas and solutions.
“This show will give them the opportunity to come in and talk to the experts and they’re some of the best experts in our community. They can talk to multiple experts, interview them, and select the one they want to work with and get all the information before they launch projects.
Those who attend can also sit in on how-to seminars by HGTV expert and professional organizer Vicki Norris. And for the kids, six-time Guiness World Book record holder and master pumpkin carver Scott Cully will be carving an 800-pound Jack-o-Lantern and will be teaching the kids to carve.
The show starts at 5 p.m. Friday and runs through the weekend. It’s free to attend.
