MEDFORD, Ore. — Medford is entering the final weekend before a potential teachers strike in the school district. If there is not a deal both sides can agree on February 6th, teachers will walk off the job.
After several mediations, the district and Medford Education Association has not been able to come to an agreement.
The MEA is planning a rally this weekend to raise support for teachers. The rally is happening at noon on Saturday in the Northgate Shopping Center.
The Medford School District has set up hotline numbers for parents to call about the district’s planned response to the threat of a strike.
On weekdays it will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
