EUGENE, Ore. — BRING, a local nonprofit recycling and reuse store, wants to bring you some green ideas by sending you somewhere.
For anyone who is interested in sustainable living, this is the event for you.
The 5th annual Home and Garden Tour is all about sharing. Generous neighbors share their homes, their experiences and their ideas with others who are looking to live a more sustainable life. The hope is that others can learn from some earth-friendly practices that people have incorporated into their homes.
“(There’s) everything that you can imagine that is connected to building houses and growing gardens. We have older homes that are being remodeled, brand new houses that have just been completed. It’s a very, very broad range of projects,” said Julie Daniel, BRING Executive Director.
She says those projects range from home food production, green building, water conservation and the list goes on.
The event is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $9 in advance and $12 the day of the event. Click here for more information.
