SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Two lucky winners in the Business Commute Challenge got to test their “big rig” driving skills Wednesday.
Employees from Feeny Wireless and Umpqua Bank took co-workers on a ride through the parking lot.
Drivers picked up passengers and even dodged people in the form of bright orange barrels.
It was a way to raise awareness about riding the bus.
“It’s really good for the environment to promote that. I guess less cars on the road and that’s gonna create less maintenance overtime. So I think it’s good for the economy in general, minus all the environmental savings you could have,” said Feeney Wireless President Ethan Ralston.
