Campbell Center Recycles Electronics

EUGENE, Ore. — If you’re looking to get rid of some of your old electronics, don’t just toss them in the trash. Instead, you can drop them off at the Campbell Community Center.

It’s collecting old, broken or worn out electronics for recycling.

“Not only is it fit with what our patrons want to do, but it will save us money, and we’re really concerned about using our resources wisely,” said Tom Powers, Program Supervisor.

The program’s supervisor says he was inspired by the city’s Zero Waste Program.

Its goal is to reuse, recycle or compost 75 percent of city-generated waste by 2014.

The Campbell Community Center is located at 155 High St, Eugene, OR 97401.
