Car Wash Helps CHS Grad in Hospital

Aaron OjedaCORVALLIS, Ore. — A weekend car wash brought in more than $3,000 for a recent Corvallis High School graduate with meningococcal disease, but the family’s still fundraising.

Eighteen-year-old Aaron Ojeda is in a Portland hospital.

His parents say last week he had seven of his fingers removed, though some were just the finger tips.

Tuesday he goes in for another surgery, this time losing both feet and possibly part of his legs.

The family has set up a medical fund to help with expenses.

If you’d like to help, you can donate at any Citizens Bank under the Aaron Ojeda Fund.
