EUGENE, Ore.– The Eugene Emeralds and Salem Volcanoes combined for a Northwest League record-breaking 39 strikeouts in a game that featured jaw-dropping pitching and big hits. In the top of the 14th inning, Salem’s Fernando Pujadas hit a solo home run to eventually win, 5-4.
