METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A large upper-level trough has parked itself of the Pacific Northwest Coast. A series of waves will work there way around the trough into the area. Each wave will bring the chance for some light showers across the area and a possible thunderstorm in the Cascades.
The first wave will move through early Sunday. Expect partly sunny skies with a chance for a shower, especially the first half of the day. High temperatures will continue to be on the cooler side; mid 70s inland and mid 60s along the coast.
We’ll have another chance for a shower Monday evening with another wave. Highs will be a bit warmer than Sunday, near 80 inland and upper 60s along the coast.
The rest of the week will remain partly sunny, with more clouds in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s inland and mid to upper 60s along the coast, right on average.
Have a super Sunday!
