Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
We’ll stay dry for the first part of Tuesday, but an approaching storm will increase clouds heading into the afternoon. The low will be close to the coast by this evening, which will spark some showers and a possible thunderstorm along the coast and in the Cascades. Showers will spread across the area Tuesday night and into Wednesday and the low move overhead. We’ll have another chance for thunderstorms Wednesday across the entire area. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
The center of the low moves slowly off to the east Thursday. Skies will start of cloudy, but transition to mostly sunny by the afternoon. High temperatures will be slightly warmer in the mid 60s along the coast, upper 60s in the Willamette Valley and low 70s in the Umpqua Basin.
Skies remain partly to mostly sunny through the weekend. There will be a chance for afternoon thunderstorms both Thursday and Friday in the Cascades. Temperatures will continue to climb in the mid to upper 70s.
Have a great terrific Tuesday!
