NEWPORT, Ore. — The Oregon Coast Aquarium is welcoming two baby chicks that hatched this week.

They’re baby common murres. The sea bird is frequently mistaken for penguins when they’re fully grown.

The aquarium says right now, they’re no bigger than the size of a lemon, mostly just feathers.

You can see them nestled up against their parents’ bellies in the seabird aviary exhibit at the aquarium.
