EUGENE, Ore. — Sunday was the sixth and final day of the Cinema Pacific Film Festival.
This year marked the fourth annual festival that celebrates some of the film-making talent in Oregon.
The event attracts some of the biggest names in the film industry, including writers of Oscar-nominated films.
The festival’s director says the event provides an experience that movie buffs can’t find anywhere else.
“We really try to provide a theatrical experience that you cannot get at home. You come in and you see the film, and then you here from the filmmaker,” said festival director Richard Herskowitz.
The staff of the film festival says that while this year was a big success, they’re already starting to think about the 2014 festival.
