SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Oregon’s waiver from the No Child Left Behind Act was the hot topic at a Springfield public school discussion Thursday.
The City Club meeting came together to talk about changes in education policy.
Springfield Superintendent Nancy Golden discussed how the focus was on overall growth in students rather than teaching to a test.
She says it’s important all staff members have a grasp on changes and improvements in the school system.
