EUGENE, Ore.– One week after getting swept by Oregon State in the Civil War, the Duck baseball team showed its resiliency once again by completing a sweep of Arizona at PK Park.

Shaun Chase hit a grand slam in the seventh inning, his eighth home run of the year and third of the weekend, to cap off a 5-1 win over the Wildcats on Sunday. The Ducks also got a solo home run from third baseman Mitchell Tolman in the sixth inning that gave UO a 1-0 lead.

Oregon senior starter Brando Tessar was stellar, pitching seven shutout innings, scattering three hits while striking out six. Tessar extended his scoreless streak 22 1/3 innings.

Next up for the Ducks is a midweek, non-conference meeting with the Beavers at PK Park on Tuesday.
