Cloudy Start, Fantastic 4th Finish

Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Daily Forecast Discussion:

Mostly clear overnight with lows falling again into the mid to low 50s. The Fourth of July also will start cloudy for all the Butte to Butte runners but should finish nicely with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.

Not much change for the holiday weekend forecast, mostly sunny skies with morning clouds and highs generally in the low to mid 80s, mid 60s at the coast. Next week though, all modeling is pointing to the hot, hot ridge in the Rockies backing up into the Northwest, pushing temps back into the upper 80s in the valley and low 90s in the Umpqua. We may even get warmer than that, we’ll be watching that trend closely.

Have a great 4th of July!
