Saturday’s Weather Discussion from Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton
Plenty of sunshine today as highs got back into the upper 70s and low 80s. Tonight, a weak cold front will push the marine layer back across Western Oregon, so skies will slowly cloud up in the pre-dawn hours and likely hang on through most of the morning. Lows tonight will be mild, in the upper 40s and low 50s.
While the clouds will start Sunday, sunshine will be back for most areas by the afternoon, but we’ll be just a bit cooler with highs back down in the low 70s. Monday and through most of next week, its back to sunny skies and highs climbing back into the upper 70s Monday, and low to mid 80s midweek! High pressure offshore and a “heat low” off the California coast will bring a July-like forecast for most of the week.
Late week, winds briefly move back to an onshore flow, thus a few more clouds in the sky, otherwise, next weekend appears to continue the stretch of dry, sunny, and warm weather we’ll see all week.
Have a great Sunday!
