NORTH BEND, Ore. — A member of the U.S. Coast Guard was arrested in North Bend for allegedly raping a young girl.
Police say 20-year old Luke Kanada of North Bend had sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Investigators say the two had a relationship over the summer.
Kanada has been released from the Coos County Jail and is scheduled to be in court Monday

I would really have to hear both sides of this story before passing any judgement. I remember “20 years old”….I also remember that “15″ can look pretty close to “20″ years old. Who was after whom, here and who pressed the charges, her or him?

There are some states where he would have been legal assuming she was willing. Unfortunately for this poor boy Oregon isn’t one of them.
