Coburg Looks for New City Hall Building

COBURG, Ore. — Residents in Coburg have a chance to tour a property that could be the new city hall.

City officials want to purchase or swap for the Manley Building on North Willamette Street. They say the current city hall is just too cramped.

With remodeling, the total cost to the city would be about $575,000, but the mayor says it will not affect tax rates.

If you’d like to check out the proposed city hall, the open house is Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 91136 N. Willamette St.

There will be a city council meeting afterward at the current city hall.
