METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Clear skies will continue in Tuesday night. Temperatures will drop rapidly to near freezing early Wednesday morning. Fog will redevelop in the valleys Wednesday morning, before burning off around lunchtime. Skies will be mostly sunny Wednesday afternoon with highs near 60 degrees.
Skies will start off mostly sunny on Thursday, but clouds will begin move in late in the day ahead the next storm. The storm is mainly tracking to our north, but we could see a few showers slide into our area Friday. High temperatures Thursday and Friday will still be near 60 degrees.
High pressure regains control Saturday and Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid 60s, even pushing 70 degrees in the Umpqua Basin.
