Commercial Airliner Crashes In Ukraine

plane_crash(CNN) —  Another tragedy for Malaysia Airlines Thursday.  Malaysia Airline Flight MH17 crashed in Eastern Ukraine near the Russian border.

MH17 was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. Authorities are currently investigating whether the plane was shot down as it passed over volatile Eastern Ukraine airspace.

The airline says nearly 300 people were on board the flight when it crashed.

The flight tracking site, FlightAware.com, says MH17 was traveling at an altitude of 33,000 feet.

Malaysia’s prime minister expressed his feeling of shock on Twitter and announced an immediate investigation.

    It didn’t “CRASH” everyone knows that.
    It was BLOWN out of the air with a MISSLE.
    THAT is different than a “crash”
    Bad writing…..
