Tuesday morning, organizers gave commuters the red carpet treatment with paparazzi and a bit of posing.
This was the second annual fashion show and runway walk along the south Willamette River path at the Campbell Center.
Organizers say the event is a fun way to get people motivated about other ways to get to work.
“First off they’re a little embarrassed, like ‘Oh no I don’t want my picture taken.’ But then we talk to them, they kind of get into it, and we have some props they can put on, and strut their stuff down the red carpet. Everybody loves to be on the red carpet,” said Marcia Maffei, Business Commute Challenge coordinator.
So far, more than 1,200 people have signed up, and there are 152 teams. If you want to get involved, click here.
